It’s a carbon monoxide and gas leak detector that plugs in but also has battery backup, so it’s still working if the power goes out. It monitors carbon monoxide and natural gas, and the screen shows temperature and humidity too, which I didn’t realize I’d actually check as often as I do. If something’s off, it alerts with sound and light instead of you having to wonder.

Not exciting. Just the kind of thing that sits there doing its job, which honestly brings a weird amount of peace of mind.  XO, Donna
