📚 📕 I’ve always been a fan of Dave Grohl. The Foo Fighters are still on my running playlist. I became a HUGE fan when I saw him and his mom interact on 60 Minutes and some late-night show. She was a public school educator and recognized he needed to break free and follow his dreams. I became an even BIGGER fan when I watched him at an award show that I can’t remember, rocking out to Deadmau5 (an EDM DJ) in his blazer and a graphic tee. Seeing Grohl support the music that wasn’t his genre and one that was generally frowned upon was absolutely inspiring. What a great way to model inclusivity and acceptance.
When his book (also on Audible came out I pre-ordered it. I’ll be honest with you… I don’t have the patience to read fiction and fantasy. I’m just not that person. But give me a book like this… one based on actual life and I’ll eat it up with my eyes. 🤩
Foo Fighters fans will loooooove reading about his start, his insecurities, his relationship with his mom, and the crossroads he found himself at when Nirvana came to an end. And now he’s a family man supporting daughters and their musical talents. It’s packed with reflection. Honest and down to earth with clear perspectives on success, fame, and family. Well written, funny, and some cussing which is a language I understand. 🤣 I highly recommend it. A great gift.

😍😍😍 It’s been a long time since I shopped at JCPenney and I thought it was time to rekindle our romance! 🤣 I absolutely adore the a.n.a. brand. Real life apparel for real life women. I saw this sweater vest and thought it was absolutely darling. I love the shape, style and all the color including pink and orange. It’s such a warm and cozy vibe. I paired it with a long sleeve top and these fantastic flare jeans. I’m not made about the trend coming back either. 🤣Wearing a small in all and I highly recommend them!

Our friends over at BTFBM know how to do sweater dresses right! I love this one and I’ve been waiting for over a month and a half for it to restock!
Long sleeve, with a banded wrist and v-neck collar too. The knit is tightly woven and the color is rich and vibrant. I’m 5’55 and hits above the knee. I’ll be wearing this with a tunic with leggings for lunch with friends, holiday parties and the sports field too. It’s SUPER cute and really well made. A generous cut so it’s comfortable and easy to wear no matter what your day looks like. I highly recommend this one. I guarantee you’ll reach for it again and again.

😍😍😍 Our friends over at BTFBM do it again! A brand new release and it’s stunning! It’s the quintessential Fall top. The sleeves are so beautiful. They are a tightly woven crochet and give this top such a romantic feel. The collar is a loose mock neck and the wrist detail is the perfect finishing detail. It is an open weave so you may wish to wear a brown or flesh-toned cami. I did not wear a cami because I wanted you to see exactly what I meant. I do feel the sizing is generous on this one. I personally love that for this top. It works for me. If you want a more fitted look then size down. I’m wearing a small and there are four colors to choose from. I’m going back for the white.

I was so hoping this fantastic jacket from BTFBM would be a winner and it is! It’s so fantastic!  Super soft, warm, and no shedding. Easy to wear and I love the warmth of this particular color. It reminds me of pumpkin spice. 😍. It features a zip-up front and two regular pockets as well as a vertical zip pocket on the left chest and right arm. It’s classic yet unique and a piece that can be enjoyed every day. Two thumbs up here. 👍 👍 BTFBM has always been a stellar brand.

Available in two colors and it’s so comfortable. Wear it alone or with leggings… the choice is yours. The sleeves are so pretty and right on trend. It falls just above my knee (5’5).
