Azelaic Acid

Fellow tretinoin girlies… has anyone else been seeing azelaic acid all over their social media lately? I finally looked into it and now I understand why everyone is talking about it. On its own, azelaic acid can help reduce redness, calm inflammation, fade post-acne marks, even out skin tone, and help keep pores clear. But when paired with tretinoin, a lot of people swear by it for helping tackle acne, texture, dark spots, and overall skin clarity from multiple angles.

I’ve been using tretinoin already, so adding azelaic acid felt like a natural next step. The combination is supposed to help speed up fading acne marks while supporting smoother, brighter-looking skin over time. Of course everyone’s skin is different, but I can definitely see why this duo has become such a popular skincare pairing lately!
